Jurassic Park River Adventure

Everyone seen Jurassic Park? Yep? Okay, then you pretty much know the premise of this ride.

Instead of entering Jeeps to view the dinos, you climb into boats. The idea is to float peacefully along the river, passing by nice, tame, plant eating dinosaurs. And for a while, that’s what happens. But where’s the fun in that? Something has to go wrong, right?

Your boat takes a worng turn and ends up in one of the research areas instead of on the nice, tame river. Whoops. All of a sudder, you’re surrounded by raptors and spitting dinosaurs… and they’re pretty lifelike. But wait - there’s an exit! Yay! Hmm… it’s guarded by a T-Rex. Not so good. Luckily for you, the ground drops out from under your boat, sending you down an 85-foot watery plunge. The good news is… the T-Rex didn’t eat you for lunch. The bad new is… you’re now soaking wet.

Jurassic Park River Adventure gets busy early on and stays busy all day. The boats are big, though, so the wait time isn’t too bad. kids have to be 42″ tall to ride, so really little children can’t get on, but even so… be careful when riding with young kids. The dinosaurs are very realistic, and they will scare non adventurous kids. Or non adventurous adults, for that matter.
